At North Rauceby near Sleaford, about 10 miles by road, the museum tells the story of the Cranwell site from its beginnings as a Royal Naval Air Service station, with a Jet Provost flight simulator. It is run by North Kesteven District Council and admission is free; check opening times before you travel.
Newark Air Museum
